Paid ads at HueLife: what we run, where, and how it connects

Two ad accounts, one CRM, one naming rule. This page is the map. The other pages in this category go deeper on each platform, on the HubSpot connection, on audiences, and on the rules for names and copy.

1 · The accounts

Both accounts belong to HueLife and sit under HueLife-controlled logins, so access survives any change in who does the marketing.

Jon is a contracted service (Steam Creative Consulting), not staff. Nothing HueLife owns is created under his personal logins, and he is never listed as a HueLife employee on any platform. When a signup form pre-fills "Steam Creative", fix it before continuing.

2 · What is running today

Everything live is for one class: the HUE Leadership Retreat in Boston, November 17 to 19, 2026, cohort code HLR-503.

Google AdsCampaign 2026_HLR-503_Boston_VideoViews, YouTube skippable pre-roll on 110 leadership channels$100 total, 16 to 24 Sep 2026Live, ad in review

Both platforms carry the same 30-second video, the one on the HueLife YouTube channel at youtu.be/0NLvDTYxir4. Every landing link carries a UTM tag so HubSpot can tell the two sources apart.

3 · How it all fits together

HubSpot is the source and the scorekeeper

Audiences start as HubSpot lists and sync to LinkedIn. Clicks come back tagged with UTMs, and HubSpot's Ads tool shows spend and clicks for both accounts next to the contacts they produced. See How ads connect to HubSpot.

Platforms do what only they can

Campaign structure, bidding, placements and the actual ad creative live in LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Google Ads. HubSpot cannot create video campaigns on either, so those are built on the platform and reported in HubSpot.

One naming rule everywhere

Ad sets are named for the class they sell, using the cohort code: 2026_HLR-503_Boston. That code is also the UTM campaign value, so a report in any tool lines up with the class record. See Names and copy rules.

Spend is capped by design

Lifetime budgets with end dates on every campaign. Daily budgets can overspend by half on a given day, so we avoid them. New spend is a decision, not a default.

4 · Where we intend to take this

The structure below is for filling in as each use is tried. Each row links to the page that will hold the how-to once it exists. Nothing here is committed spend.
